Pick: Tottenham Result: 1:0 Stake: 8/10 Odds: 1.80

After yesterday game Tottenham slipped out of top 4 spot. Tottenham improved their form in recent forms, recent away game against Birmingham was disappointing, when they conceded goal in dying minutes of the game. But Spurs game against Aston Villa showed the real class of the team, they outplayed their opponents and really deserved 3 points from the game. On the other hand Wolverhamton morale is very low after weekend game against same Birmingham, 2 goals left them with nothing. I expect H.Redknapp team to go back to top 4 after today game.

Everton always seem to have a good game against Chelsea. Everton will put up a better fight that Arsenal in my opinion. They have a much better squad to deal with Chelsea strengths. Everton squad are much more physical than Arsenal. Last 3 meetings between these teams ended in a draw I believe. It will be a tough test for Chelsea. Everton is missing Fellaini and Pienaar, who are both ineligible to play in this game. But returning Arteta and Biliyaletdinov are certainly equal replacements. Chelsea away form currently is on a downtrend and Everton should grab a point here.

I always recall the tough matches Inter had at Parma in the past. And they're not exactly the worst team in Serie A now by any means. But today they have some serious players missing, most notably B.Dzemaili and C.Panucci. Inter could rest Milito for this one, and move Eto'o in the middle, if Eto'o is better than he was last match. Pandev was rested the Coppa match and was great against Cagliari. He really started brightly his Inter career. Inter reached almost perfect form and will want to enter CL play-off in high spirits. Inter are high favorites in this game.

Lower division Vesoul welcome capital side at their home ground. Mamadou Sakho who was suspended this weekend against Lorient (0-3) makes his return to face Vesoul (FSC) Tuesday in the eighth finals of the Coupe de France. It is the only change over the weekend. Apart from Gregory Coupet, who still treats his ankle, Antoine Kombouare has all his men. Recently form PSG could only be described as awful. They lost last 4 games and their coach position is become more insecure. But today against lowly Vesoul they should do their job. PSG will play with strongest line-up and it is the main reason for this bet.

Manchester City played the worst game since R.Mancini arrival. They lost to league outsiders Hull City. I think Mancini is playing a bit too safe on away matches. It just feels like they play way too stagnant. Adebayor's ball control was non existent and his passing was poor. Tevez and Bellamy looked like not even in the game. But it is a big difference when City is playing away and when they are playing at home. Inspired by their fans they are coming forward and scoring lots of goals. Bolton have problems in defense, ever-present defender G.Cahill is set to miss rest of the season.

So far Werder season reminds me a rollercoaster. One day they are winning against Freiburg 6:0 and after that they are continue with 2 draws and 5 consecutive losses. On the weekend they managed to win again against lowly Hertha Berlin. Their attacking power was the main force in this season. Pizzaro, Ozil and Marin have been scoring a lot of goal. Today Hoffenheim will miss their key defenders A.Beck and J.Simunic. It will be very hard for them to stop Werder. Bundesliga fixture ended 2:0 in favor of Werder and similar result would be logical today.

Hearts will be starting their best line-up for today game. New manager J.Jeferries will be eager to start from a win at home. Frankly speaking dismissal of C.Laszlo was unexpected for me as the team was beginning to bring results and they were sitting 6th in a table. But when you have Lithuanian businessman who likes to rule the team nothing is unexpected. League game ended 1:0 in favour of Hearts and I even considered betting correct score 1:0

Crystal Palace are going into administration they sold they prize asset V.Moises to Wigan. But today I expect them to see them fighting and winning. Wolverhampton are coming with a second choice squad to this game. M.Macarthy main object is survival in Premier League and he will field his rarely used players. Coventry despite all the off the field problems won on the weekend and with their best players playing they could win today.

Table neighbors are meeting today in Stadium of Light. After inspiring start Sunderland now are in poor state of form. They have lost last 3 games and are in search of morale boosting win. These teams are very similar both of them are good when playing at home and below par in away games. Another bright spot for Sunderland is their star striker D.Bent, who is on top of scoring charts in Premier League. Overall Sunderland bad streak should end today.

Juventus needs to bounce back and justify the hiring of a new coach and Lazio is fighting to stay in the league. Zacheroni isn’t a very good coach, but he coached Milan to a title back in 99. He has more experience than C.Ferrara which is positive, but can he get the players gelling and playing well? Sometimes a change of coach, regardless of whether he is good or not gets some form of reaction out of the players and often they start playing well again. I expect similar reaction today from Juventus team.

Relegation battle in Spain. Tenerife hosts fellow underdogs Zaragoza in their stadium. Tenerife last weekend took points off Valencia at home. They were playing better and created more chance. But their strikers are really bad. Zaragoza on the other hand is bringing new players to the squad trying to prevent from relegating back to Segunda B. Last week they fire R.Ayala who was really awful this season. M.Contini has been brought from Lazio to replace him .On the season opening day at home they defeated Tenerife 1:0 and I think they won‘t loose today.
